Reports: Netball 16 January 2006
On Monday 16th January 2005 a netball team from Revenue & Customs took
on the Home Office at their new purpose built basement sports hall at 2
Marsham St. In a keenly contested match the home side emerged victorious
by the margin of 46 to 11 with silky skills being exhibited on both sides.
The match was the first stage in restarting and revamping a CSSC London
netball league that will pull teams together from all Departments, Agencies
and others right across the capital and get them playing regular local
netball. The initiative is also designed to be able to offer netball
as a social, keep fit activity out of the glare of competition with all
abilities welcome.
