London Civil Service Squash Club

Playing: league, social play, coaching

Squash League

We have a flourishing squash league. See our League Tables for the period ending 3 June 2007 [PDF](50 KB)

Social players pool

Are you interested in playing squash socially? Do you want to play but not in the competitive environment of the leagues and annual club competitions? Do you want to meet new friends in a relaxed environment?

We are organising a pool of squash players who are interested in playing friendly, non competitive games and perhaps have a drink and a chat afterwards. All levels catered for.

Want to play squash but don't know anybody else who does? Are you tired of playing the same person all the time? Now you can meet new players, choose your opponents from a group of people and have as many or as few games as you like. The South Bank Club has a bar and lounge area with TV screens showing all the major sports events of the year.

To enter, please call Carl Broadhurst on tel. 020 7942 4000 ext 8635, or mobile 07970 610989

Group coaching

Do you want to learn the basics of the game? Do you want to improve your technique and move up the leagues? We have our own qualified coach, Mark Bangs, who periodically organises group coachings on an ability level basis. They are intense sessions where he looks at our weaknesses and teaches us techniques to improve various aspects of our game. He’s very patient and methodical, and will explain the why’s as well as the how’s. The sessions are extremely good value! The next coaching sessions will be announced on this web site.
