Chairman - John Summerfield
I have been a participant at many CSSC events and sports for some 10
years since I came to work in the public sector and am delighted to have
recently been selected as Chairman of the London Management Board. My
background is in estates and building management.
My interests are varied and wide ranging from competitive sports to the
Arts. I've had a go at more sports than I can mention here, but at a
club level really it's been rugby, karate, racquet sports (badminton,
tennis, squash)rowing, target shooting (Army)and nowadays it's golf.
Since my youth I have also frequently been involved in the Arts having
worked or been involved in ceramics, painting, singing. A somewhat
eclectic set of interests which mean that I have an interest and often
some knowledge in most anything that CSSC promotes.

have been in post since 2005.
I am not a very sporty person but I make the most of the numerous
benefits of being a member eg the countdown cards and the facilities
at Chadwick Street.
Working as a volunteer at the CSSC Games and the Chiswick sports days
has been a very rewarding experience.

Dave Bower
I am currently the General Secretary of the Defra Sports and Social
Association (SSA) and am responsible for promoting sports and social
activities in the Department and its Executive Agencies/NDPBs.
The SSA
also acts as a link between CSSC and the Defra membership and is
the
central contact point when entering Departmental teams in CSSC
events.
I have been a member of CSSC for longer than I care to remember
and have
always had a great interest in sport, whether as a player or as
a
spectator. Age, infirmity and beer now prevent much participation
although cricket and squash still manage to keep me relatively
fit.

Ray Collins
Manager, Chadwick Street
Previous to joining CSSC as Manager of Chadwick Street and Eltham Sports Ground in February 2002. I had spent the
best part of twenty years as a Licensee, running Pubs for Whitbread
