Golf: 22 June 2006
Thursday 22nd June saw a good turn out of both men and woman,
who took part in the CSSC London Region Men's and Woman's Golf
competition at Cuddington Golf Club in Surrey. The day started
early with golfers teeing off at 9am. After a glorious
morning and afternoon of golf the
competitors stayed for a well deserved three course dinner at the
club.
Winners Details:
The qualifiers who will represent London region in the Ladies
Golf Finals are:
- Best Gross winner - Gill Metcalfe (Department of Work and
Pensions)
- Best Net winner - Melanie Bond (Valuation Office Agency)
The qualifier who will represent London region in the Mens Golf
Finals are:
- Best Net winner - David Barlow (Home Office)
Barbados Challenge:
The majority of regional competitors also took part in the Barbados
Golf Pairs event, the winners of this challenge were Gordon Fraser
with a handicap of 12 and Brendan Campbell with a handicap of 25.
Well done to all competitors who took part in both the regional
and Barbados competition. We
hope to see you again next year.
